On February 13th, our VAT Partner Yolanda Cano, had the pleasure to give a webinar on VAT in the Digital Age, invited by SERES. During the webinar, Yolanda went through the main initiatives included grouped under three large groups with the commonly known as "ViDA package". The different initiatives were addressed in detail, mainly those that have to do with digital platforms and the figure of the deemed supplier, intra-community trade and central VIES, and the promotion of the use of electronic invoicing.

Precisely one day before this event, the plenary session of the European Parliament had approved the reforms foreseen under this project, although still pending of ratification. The session was very open, and the more than 80 attendees were very attentive and raised several debates, reflecting the interest aroused by the largest reform undertaken in the field of VAT in the last 15 years.
