In May 2014, Belén founded bln palao abogados, after working for more than thirteen years for Deloitte Spain as an integral member of the indirect taxation team and responsible for the customs and IIEE line.

She belongs to the Madrid Bar Association since 2000 and to the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF) and, since February 2015, he has been a member of the Indirect Tax Committee of the AEDAF, responsible for issues related to excise duties, tax related to energy issues, environmental taxes and customs. In January 2024 she has been appointed as a member of the Excise Contact Group at the European Commission.

Belén speaks Spanish, English, French and German.

Blanca joined bln palao abogados, S.L.P.  at the beginning of 2019, after a few years in the VAT, customs and excise duties department at Deloitte and, previously, at Ernst & Young.

Since September 2019, Blanca has been part of the faculty of the School of Legal Practice, a center attached to the Complutense University of Madrid, teaching the indirect taxation class at the CAE of international business. She currently teaches classes in the High Specialization course in customs matters at the school of legal practice, as well as in various tax master's degrees taught by the ISDE or the European University of Madrid.

Javier joined bln palao abogados, S.L.P.  at the beginning of 2023, and is specialized in customs and Export control.

He is a graduate in Law from the University of Castilla-La Mancha and has many training courses in the best Business Schools in Spain (IESE University of Navarra, Rafael del Pino Foundation, Center for Financial Studies) and Public Institutions such as the Center for Higher Studies of National Defense.

He speaks Spanish and English.

Victor joined bln palao abogados, S.L.P.  at the beginning of 2025, he has more than 3 years of experience and is specialized in areas of VAT , Customs, Compliance and excise duties..

He is a graduate in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He has also completed the Master's degree of Access to the Advocacy Specialty Tax at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues.

He speaks Spanish and English.

Cristina joined bln palao abogados, S.L.P.  in mid-2023 and is specialized in issues related to VAT, Customs and tax procedures.

She is a graduate in Law from the University of Cantabria and has the Double Master's degree in Access to the legal profession and International Tax Advisory (MIAF) by the ISDE (2023).

She speaks Spanish and English.

Juan joined bln palao abogados, S.L.P.  At the beginning of May 2024, after his time at a well-known Spanish company dedicated to alcoholic beverages. He works on issues of VAT, Customs and excise duties, CBAM.

He is a graduate in Law from the University of Jaen and has the Double Master's degree in Access to the legal profession and Tax Advisory by the UNIR as well as Master's degree in International Tax Advisory by the ISDE (2024).

He speaks Spanish and English

Melissa joined bln palao abogados, S.L.P.  in may 2024, as part of his training, she attended the Master of Tax Advice given by the School of Legal Practice (UCM).

She is a graduate in Law from the University of Costa Rica, previously, Melissa worked for several years at Deloitte – Costa Rica in the area of tax, specializing in issues of customs and tax law.

She speaks Spanish and English

Lucia joined bln palao abogados, S.L.P.  in November, 2024, and is specialized in issues related to Customs, Excise duties and Export control.

She is a graduate in Law from the University of Essex – England and has a Master's degree in international law and foreign trade by the ISDE (2023).

Lucía habla español, inglés, eslovaco y alemán.

Zintia joined bln palao abogados, S.L.P. in September 2023.

She is a graduate in business Administration and Finance from the Universidad César Vallejo Lima (Peru). She has several specialized courses on topics related to the management and control of the company (CEF, SAGE, etc).
