Over the past two years and as a result of the geopolitical situation at the global level and of the change of priorities in terms of defense, we are witnessing an exponential increase in projects related to defense and products and dual-use technologies.

The existence of international projects and the globalization of supply chains require a high level of knowledge of the regulations related to the exports of this type of product and the establishment of regulatory compliance plans, all as a prior step to undertaking any type of investment and thus guaranteeing a high percentage of success.

Taking this scenario into account, throughout this day we will address the main legal, technical and strategic challenges related to the export of defence products and dual-use products and technologies. For two and a half hours, experts from the legal and business fields will analyse the current geostrategic situation, the industrial and technological strategies of the Ministry of Defence, and the applicable regulatory framework, including the Regulation on the Control of Foreign Trade in defence material, other material and dual-use products and technologies.

The conference will be held at the School of Legal Practice of the Complutense University of Madrid, with free attendance and open to the public. In addition, it will be possible to follow it in streaming format for those who cannot attend in person.
